  5. The Ranmar Commercial System (RCS) is a software product which generates and
  6. prints commercial insurance policies.  RCS has been installed and operational
  7. in all The Prudential Assurance Co.  Ltd.  Commercial Lines Offices across
  8. Canada since May 1987.  It provides the commercial underwriter with a policy
  9. generator, management system, and offers the following features:  facility to
  10. design and create new product lines; immediate policy issuance; certified and
  11. additional policy copies at the touch of a key; provides a summary page not
  12. deemed to be part of the policy declaration, but a summary of coverages with
  13. rates and premiums for the branch and agents; retains all insureds'
  14. information in order to issue endorsements and renewals from existing policies
  15. in the system; policy access by policy number or insured; facility to handle
  16. French and English users; standalone word processor/e-mail facility;
  17. statistics; and laser printing.  A new feature in The Commercial System is
  18. Mapping.  This feature will provide the commercial Underwriter, a summary of
  19. exposure in any given area, PML, Risk Grading, Line Limits, Inspection
  20. Reports, and Claims information.
